A wunderkind young set designer, Emi has already started to find her way in the competitive Hollywood film world.

Emi is a film buff and a true romantic, but her real-life relationships are a mess. She has desperately gone back to the same girl too many times to mention. But then a mysterious letter from a silver screen legend leads Emi to Ava. Ava is unlike anyone Emi has ever met. She has a tumultuous, not-so-glamorous past, and lives an unconventional life. She’s enigmatic…. She’s beautiful. And she is about to expand Emi’s understanding of family, acceptance, and true romance.

Everything Leads to You is a incredible sweet and addictive book with a lesbian lead who's sexuality isn't the main focus of the novel. I loved everything about it and could not put it down.

Emi was a lovable character. She is a young set-designer and even though I've never even heard about this job before reading the book it sounds amazing. Her passion for set design and the things and people is really contagious. She is a normal person who makes mistakes and is fun to read about and I really loved that about her. There are great friendships in this book and her being a lesbian isn't a big deal at all which was really refreshing.

The way this book was written was really descriptive and fast paced. That and Emi's passion for everything she was doing made even the smallest drawbacks seem incredibly tragic.

Since a lot of the characters in this book are involved with the film industry in some way or another that was also a big aspect of the story. It gave me a whole new perspective on film and made me think of all the people who most people don't even realize play a crucial part in bringing a movie come to life.

This was a really short review but I can't stress enough how much I loved this book. I'll definitely check out more books from this author and hope you do too.
